SNMP Monitoring can be performed using the MetricsView platform. By downloading the MetricsView data collector agent, MetricsView can monitor SNMP capable devices using SNMP V1, V2, or V3.  For version 1 and version 2, the SNMP monitor uses a community and OID while version 3 uses an SNMP username and has the capability of using a password with various levels of encryption in place of the community string.
