How to Сreate Devices and Targets
How It Works
REST Web API monitoring checks specified functions of your API for uptime, performance, proper data, and authentication correctness. It supports different types of HTTP(S) requests, cookies, form submissions, custom headers, password-secured sites (basic HTTP/S authorization as well as cookie/script authorization mechanisms), and timeout thresholds.
In addition, REST Web API monitoring validates security certificates, checks certificate authority, and expiration date. It can also be configured to send reminders when the certificate expiration date is approaching.
The request configuration is similar to the HTTP/S device. To configure the request settings, check the recommendations on how to Push Payload to REST WEB API. For other details on configuring the request, see HTTP(S) Device.
