The EveryStep Scripting Tool by Dotcom-Monitor is a powerful macro that records scripts to perform automated monitoring of your websites’ performance. There are many advanced features in the EveryStep Scripting Tool to help customize the script to trigger notifications based upon specific needs, such as recording the time between actions. The Script Watcher is an advanced feature available when editing a script that you have already recorded.
Now you can monitor any SNMP capable devices on your network using the Dotcom-Monitor MetricsView product. Simply download and install the MetricsView Agent onto a machine in your network and setup the monitoring parameters in your account.

Leveraging Dotcom-Monitor services, NCM Online developed fact-based observations about the performance of 20 leading web hosts in June, and continues to test additional hosts throughout the year (the most recent update to the list was 8/2/2014). These tests include purchasing a shared hosting plan from each provider and gathering page-load speed averages and uptime percentages from at least 10 concurrent days using identical websites on each provider. This process provides 2 of the ten criteria NCM Online uses to rank different shared hosting service providers.

Microsoft Exchange continues to grow in popularity, but until recently active monitoring via full round-trip processes have been lacking in the marketplace. As a result network administrators have found it difficult to accurately pinpoint Microsoft Exchange issues effectively. Dotcom-Monitor’s Microsoft Exchange Monitoring, actively monitors both the availability and performance of Exchange components and provides alerts and diagnostics information when an issue is detected. Among a wealth of other features, the solution includes the industry’s only tool for monitoring ActiveSync externally, so it mimics the same experience a real user would receive.
